After School Snack!
We are loving all the back to school projects! We have asked our design team to create projects inspired by back to school this month. Today, KimberlyRae has created a sweet stand that goes right along with jello cookies! The best part? She added the recipe too, for all our readers!
HiHi Crafters :)
As promised, I'm back with my Jello Cookie recipe and a delicate little stand to display all the yumminess!
Just take a look at the delicate lace edging around the stand...Gorgeous or what?!
I made the stand using Echo Park Paper 'Dots and Stripes' pack
and
SVGcuts 'Poplar Street Tulips' SVG kit. You can find it HERE!
Everything was cut with my only electronic die cutting machine the Craftwell eCraft!

Jello Cookie Stand
Jello Cookie Recipe
Jello Cookies (Slightly adapted from I Heart Nap Time)
Ingredients
3.5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1.5 cups unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon sea-salt
1 farm fresh egg
1 tsp pure vanilla
4 (3 oz) boxes jello-cherry, lime, orange, berry blue
Directions
Beat butter in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually beat flour mixture into butter mixture.
Divide dough into 4 equal portions. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of corresponding colors into each portion. Knead the jello into the dough. You may want to add a few drops of food coloring to make the dough more vibrant.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls [using a cookie baller is so handy for this process]. Roll the red and blue dough balls in the extra jello from the packets [jello sugar coating] Place them 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Flatten each the with bottom of a measuring cup.
Bake 8-10 min. at 350 degrees on baking sheets, line with parchment paper. Cool on baking sheets for 2 min. Remove to wire racks and cool completely and Enjoy!
Place on your sweet little stand and watch them disappear!
