Airbrushed Planter

 Hi All!

Katie here with another fun project using Craftwell's eBrush Airbrush System.

Taking a plain plastic planter and making it your own. A fun project for kids or by yourself.

Materials

Craftwell eBrush Airbrush System

Sharpie Markers

Spectrum Noir Markers

Small Plastic Planter from Target ($3 for 2)

Painter's Tape

Inspirational Photo (optional)

I couldn't decide on what to airbrush the planter and went with a photo of a sunset as my inspiration. That photo is above.

First off I taped off the selection I didn't want to get color. My strategy was to start with lighter colors and work myself to the darker ones or I would reverse. Do what you feel would work for you because honestly you might have a different approach.

Used a mix of Sharpie and Spectrum Noir markers because I might not have the right shade of color and will use two different brands of markers.

Below you can see what airbrushing looks like and I'm happy with the result.

I hope everyone enjoyed my project and I'll airbrush a few more planters for those plant lovers out there.
I'm open to suggestions what designs I should airbrush on them.

Until next time! Happy crafting.

Fall theme cookies

Hello all, Today I 'm here with fall theme cookies using Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit.

I baked sugar cookies and decorated using royal icing in the shapes of pumpkin 🎃 and fall leaves 🍂

To give the glossy effect and real leaf looks, I used Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit with airbrush food colors.

Happy Women's Day!

Hi everyone!

Katie here with another post and wanted to make something for "Women's Equality Day".

Materials

Craftwell eBosser

Craftwell eBrush Airbrush System

Spectrum Noir markers

Flower cutting dies from Amazon

Alphabet cutting dies from Michaels

Cardstock (whatever I had leftover)

Small color foam circles from Amazon

Some colors I didn't have so I used my handy eBrush with Spectrum Noir markers to airbrush the colors on plain white cardstock and die-cut the flowers out. Below you can see what they look like and came out pretty well.

Start assembling all the flower pieces together, which you can see below:

Here's the finished product!

I hope everyone enjoyed my project and celebrates Women's Equality Day your way.
Until next time!

Airbrush Photo Frames

 Hi everyone!

Katie here with a fun project of making custom airbrushed photo frames to which can be great gifts.

They can be made custom to whoever you give it to or maybe just for yourself 😉

Materials:

Craftwell eBrush and eBosser

Sharpie markers

Rectangle square frame cutting dies from Amazon

Sizzix Thinlit Hot Air Balloon (used the flower dies)

Bristol board paper

Double-sided square foam tape

A variety of cardstock

Chose 2 sets of Sharpie markers and used Craftwell eBrush to airbrush on Bristol board paper.
Took the airbrushed papers and die cut into them with the rectangle square frames.

Used the eBosser to die cut into my cardstock papers of flowers and stars, slowly started to assemble everything.
I'll just say I would sometimes misplace the flowers since their so small 😂

Below are the finish project:

What's great about these is you can place them into actual photo frames and then gift it.

Get your very own eBrush Airbrush System from our shopping website!

I hope everyone enjoyed my project and put your own touch on it.
Until next time.

Airbrushed Oscar Award

Airbrush Sneaker

 Hi everyone!

It's Katie with another project and I finally got a chance to airbrush the other sneaker.

I got to brainstorming on what could compliment the other airbrushed sneaker, so I decided on a landscape around the sneaker.

Materials:

Craftwell eBrush Airbrush System

One used sneaker

Sharpie marker adapter

Sharpie markers (used about 7 colors)

Painters tape

Gloves

First thing, I lined the bottom of the sneaker that I don't want to airbrush with the painters tape.

I airbrushed free-hand and only had a photo as a reference. But if need assistance, you can always take a pencil or pen and do a rough drawing onto the sneaker. If you never used the eBrush, I would suggest you test it out on paper and get familiar with it before airbrushing anything.

How I started off with airbrushing was starting with light to dark colors, and free-handed all the smaller details such as the mountains and trees.

*When airbrushing, it's best to work on top of a piece of cardboard or something so you don't stain your workplace.

Here is the finished product:

Here's both finished sneakers:

In case you missed my post for the other sneaker:

Hope you all enjoyed my project and was inspired. Until next!!

eBrush Fun

 Hi everyone!

Katie here with a fun project using Craftwell's eBrush and markers. I'm not an advanced eBrush user, but I can still utilize the marker adapters and create something pretty.

I took used pair of sneakers, which had some stitched on patches and doodles on it. I only airbrushed one sneaker and decided to save the other side for another time.

First, took off the patch with seam ripper which you can find at a Michaels or something. I used was rubber alcohol with a paper towel to clean the sneaker the best I can.

For the design, I was inspired by sunsets and storms. I thought some darker shades will help hide the doodles made on the sneaker. One side of the sneaker and tongue will have a sunset, and the last side will have a thunderstorm. To help, I went onto google for some image ideas and gathered my materials.

Materials

Craftwell eBrush

Spectrum Noir marker adapter

Spectrum Noir markers

Tulip Metallics - White fabric paint

Painter's tape

Gloves

Cardboard

Next step, taped the top edge of the sole to which I want to keep white untouched. Took some cardboard I had lying around to line my area and placed a small piece in the shoe so I don't any color on the inside. From there, I started off with lighter shades then worked myself up to the darker ones.

I used the white fabric paint to create lightning bolts and clouds.

Here I have my finished project:

Hope you all enjoyed my project and it inspired you.

Till next time!

CraftwellUSA's eBrush takes on Chalk Paint!

The eBrush is such a versatile tool. You can use it for card making, posters, use it with markers, and with paints using the siphon kit. It is such a easy tool to use. Today I would like to revisit using Dixie Belle Chalk Paints with the eBrush and its companion siphon kit! Look for more tutorials to come!

Air brushed Gold cake

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to share my new cake of this year which is decorated using Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit

It's simple to frost the cake in gold if you have airbrush handy. I began with baking a 6 inch tall cake and frosted with white buttercream. Then airbrushed with edible gold color using both the eBrush and siphon kit.

Here is the complete glittery look of the cake:

Edible jewels

Hello everyone! This month I have come up with edible jewelry using Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit.

I baked a cake for prince theme birthday party and the theme requires edible gold crown and edible gold jewels to decorate the cake. I made fondant crown and jewels in fondant using silicon mold and then airbrushed using gold luster dust mixed with lemon extract with the help of Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit. Arranged the jewels after frosting the cake.

Airbrushed Heart Cake

 Hello everyone,

This time I'm with a heart cake project designed using Craftwell eBrush kit.

I baked a red velvet cake in round pan and frosted with cream cheese frosting. Then I carved the cake to heart shape and frosted again with cream cheese. Beauty of red velvet cake lies in the drizzle of red crumbs on top of the cake. Hence I dried few cake scraps in microwave and pulsed it in the mixer to get fine crumbs.

I gently added the fine crumbs on top and sides of cake. But I felt the red color was not bright enough. Here the magic comes. Quickly grabbed the Craftwell eBrush and Siphon kit and added red airbrush color into it. I carefully airbrushed on the crumbs managing the crumbs not to fly due to pressure from airbrush. Here I got the bright red color heart ❤️ finally.

Then used some gold colored fondant to make a chain and lock🔒. Attaching the picture for reference.

Painted isomalt cake

Hello everyone!

This time I'm with a different project using Craftwell eBrush. It's a painted isomalt cake.
I began with baking a small 4 inch caramel cake and frosted with buttercream. Later used Craftwell airbrush and siphon kit loaded with teal airbrush color. I airbrushed little by little like a patch on the cake and gave a quick scrap over the cake to get the painted effect.

Then I made a isomalt topper to give the glass effect. Attaching the picture here:

Princess Cake

Hello everyone! Today I'm here with princess cake designed using Craftwell eBrush & siphon kit.

I baked a cake for the princess birthday party and decorated ruffles on the bottom using buttercream.

For the crown 👑, I made it using white fondant with the help of silicone mold and air dried it. To color it gold, I used Craftwell siphon kit with gold airbrush color to get the glittery gold finish.

Airbrushed Floral Cake

Hello everyone!

This is Lavanya with a floral cake today designed using Craftwell eBrush.

It's a simple eggless black forest cake decorated with whipped cream flowers on top. I began with baking a cake, layered with cherries and frosted it. I piped some flowers on nail using rose nozzle and to give the elegant look to the flower, I Airbrushed those piped flowers in red shades using Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit.

It's time saving, since instead of making different color creams, I used white whipped cream and airbrushed with required shades.

The following picture shows the output.

It's Autumn here

Hi folks,

Today I'm here with a fall theme 3D cake using Craftwell eBrush

I began with baking a basic vanilla sponge cake and cut into mini round circles. Then stacked and frosted those mini cake layers. Thinking pumpkin shape in mind, I tried to carve the same in the cake. Once getting desired shape, I covered the cake with fondant. Also made few fondant leaves using cutters along with this. Then used my Craftwell eBrush and siphon kit to give life to those mini pumpkins and leaves.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and see you soon with another project.

Faith Over Fear - Art Journal

Hello there! Desiree' sending everyone best wishes and hoping you all are well!
It has been a crazy time the past few weeks and we all have been through some things!
Right? Ugh!! I am here today sharing a couple of my very first Art Journal pages!
I recently bought my very first Art Journal and I am loving it!!

I got the smaller one by Ranger Ink and Dyan Reavely! She is so inspiring!
So since the pages in this journal are not white I decided to gesso them.
Once that was all dry, I made a cloud edger out of some cloud shaped dies I have
using my SNAP machine of course! I also cut out a very pretty label die from my stash.
I then used my cloud edger, my Sharpies and my eBrush and made a storm cloud background.
On the second page I made a cloud shape at the bottom of the page.

Next I used my electronic cutting machine to cut out some files I made, using fonts from my computer. And an editing program.
I then eBrushed a silver "halo" to highlight my fancy frame die cut and wrote my sentiment by hand.
It isn't perfect BUT that is okay! Right? I then eBrushed teal around the die cut.
Then I glued down my cut out image using wet glue. I also wrote a beautiful Bible verse to look up to read and comfort me when I might feel afraid. It comforts me.

Here is a pic of the completed pages! I am new to Art Journaling and I find it therapeutic and
comforting! I LOVE the effects I was able to archive thanks to my eBrush!
If you have never art journaled I suggest trying it and if you do not have an eBrush, go on and get one! They are so much fun!

I always hope that my post inspired you! I hope you all are well and that things are back to normal
soon! Until my next post, stay blessed!
