Debi Tullier's: Inspired Box
We are so excited to have our girls from the Design Team back! With the New Year comes a flow of energy and renewal. We just can't wait to tackle all of our projects! And with this feeling, comes Debi's first project of 2012! Debi created a box to keep her focused on accomplishing her goals this year! Read on to find out how you can do this too!
Happy New Year! 2012 is the year to experience your dreams!
eCrafting my inspirations!
Hello All! I am Debi Tullier (to-yay) I am a jack of all trades
and a master of none, but that is where the fun is!!!
I am delighted to be back with the eCraft Design Team! I am looking forward to all of
the wondrous adventures ahead with my eCraft. I am so thankful for the
inspiration that I receive from my fellow crafters and hopefully I will also
inspire someone to open their crafting cupboard!
My Project is my One Word Inspire Box. I have a good friend that
uses this to set her yearly goals. She uses a word to set her goal for the year.
I am not a long term person and need to have inspiration on a daily basis. So my
word for this month is Inspire and each day I take a slip of paper and write
down one word. This slip goes into my inspire box. Next month I will draw one
word a day and use it to grow my creative palette.

Ingredients for Inspire Box:
-
SVGcuts One piece Box SVG!
-
DCWV cardstock (simply the most beautiful) Collage Musing Stack!!
-
DCWV Black Cardstock for the inside of the box
-
3L Adhesive (LOVE IT)
-
eCraft Cutting System
-
Eyelet and trim for box tie from Hobby Lobby
-
brad button cover from I-top
-
I-top2 from Imaginisce
-
4 inches of sheer ribbon from JoAnn’s
-
hand sewing needle and thread from JoAnn’s
-
Misc material
This wonderful DCWV cardstock spoke to me. I had to have it as
my Inspiration Box cover. It speaks of all I hold dear. Family, Journeys,
Adventures and so much more. How wonderful that it in itself is an inspiration.
I set the pressure to 3, No tabs, Cap on and cardstock
stabilizer used.
Very quickly the box was cut and ready to be assembled. I used
my favorite 3L Crafty Power Tape. I love the Super tack of this tape!
I threaded in a small piece of cording to make a catch for the
lid.
Next I used my fav Crafting Tool the I-Top 2 for my button cover
brad!
I first place a inked dot with the word “Inspire” on the cover
then covered it with sheer fabric.
Now for my new Beginning! I am ready to motivate myself into
2012’s best creative year ever!!!
I hope you will join me! Happy New Year to all and the hope for
more to come!
