Today I created a Wall Art, or Door Art for a Childs room by using something that most children have in their toy stashes already!  A wooden puzzle! And let's be real, most of them are missing pieces aren't they?

To create this piece I used a Melissa and Doug Wooden Puzzle that had a few pieces missing. Measure where you would like the Ribbon (used to hang the piece) and use a drill bit to create the hole to pass the ribbon through. Cut your selected Paper to size and adhered with Mod Podge being careful to smooth out from the middle to the edges to get out any air bubbles. Cut out the holes for the ribbon with an exacto knife. 

To create the Hot Air Balloon's 3D look, simply cut two Hot Air Balloon's with your Die and Craftwell eBosser and score the top one down the middle and crease, then adhere to the bottom one. I also wrapped twine around this one and tied off into a sweet little bow (Shown Below in the second photo). To add another cute little detail I cut out a piece of brown wood texture paper for the basket of the Hot Air Balloon as shown below.

I cut the hearts and clouds with the eBosser as well and added as embellishments, along with some of the die-cuts available in the Fancy Pants Designs Kit Me-ology.

Finish off by tying your ribbon through the holes made earlier and knotting several times in the back.
