Hello Crafty Friends!

I hope you are having a fabulous week so far! I cannot believe September is around the corner!! Time flies when you are having fun right? And we certainly have been having such a fun time creating with this month’s fantastic sponsor’s products and the eBosser THANK YOU Fancy Pants for all you do and share

As part of the fun they challenged us to create a back to school project. Well, as you probably have noticed I took the theme and ran with it!! So today I am here to share: A Dry Erase Planner and a Pencil Holder created with the Me-ology Collection.

Supplies:

Fancy Pants: Me-ology Collection (paper, ephemera pack and stickers)
Thin Metal Dies (nesting circles)
eBosser
Permanent Tape
Xyron Sticker Maker
12” frame
Acrylic Paint and brush
Paper Trimmer
Scissors
Empty cardboard canister

Difficulty level: Easy
Time: 30-40 min depending on drying time
eBosser plate combo: CD + Magnetic shim+ thin metal die+ DP+ A

Creative Process:

First, a dry erase planner which is a breeze to create. Everyone wanted to write their activities on it I had to fight for the marker LOL!!! For this just trim the bottom edge of your paper and frame it! That simple!! Who doesn’t love a fab and quick project?

For the pencil holder:  Paint the inside and edges of it let it dry. Cut a strip of paper as tall as your canister and glue or decoupage it to the cylinder’s body.

Optional: For the lid, cut a circle out of thin chipboard larger than the perimeter of the base of the cylinder. Mark the perimeter of the cylinder and cut slits from the edge of the chipboard circle to the mark you created. Cut a circle de size of your cylinder base. Glue both circles together and punch holes for the pencils. Fold the fringed section down and glue to a strip of chipboard. Paint the edges and inside of the lid. Adhere decorative stripe of paper to top of the lid and to the side.

For the monogramed tag, I used one of the tags from the ephemera pack and traced the scalloped edge on the straight end, punched a hole. Cut a set of reinforcements, a scalloped circle and run them though the sticker maker. Tied the tag using the twine that comes with it.

As always thank you for stopping by, have a super crafty day!
