Back to School 'Book Marker'

Design Team: Pam Bray Week 20 cycle 9

Was it just us, or did summer fly by?! With summer at a close and fall around the corner, we challenged our design team to create projects using Fancy Pants Designs products that could be used for back to school. This is what Pam came up with today!

Hard to believe that it is already time to think about back to school and all the prep work that comes with getting back in the groove of school. Well to help out I made a fun Summertime Book Marker to share with you and hope it helps keep your reading assignments organized.

Begin by lining up your plates.
As you can see you can place multiple dies and paper on to that big platform.

Once I had my bookmark cut from the Nautical Star Paper I took a piece of yellow and blue Core'dinations Paper and ran it through the eBosser using my Exotic Embossing Folder and sanded it off lightly. I place the blue on top of the book mark and the yellow behind the book mark prior to adding the library pocket that was wrapped with twine and tied with a bow.

I added the Ship Wheel and Anchor that was cut from the metallic paper from the Nautical Paper Kit and added it to the book mark. I love that the book mark it so interactive with the card that comes out of the Library Pocket so you are able to take notes, write info, etc when you are using it. I hope you check out Fancy Pants Nautical Collection and try to make some special book marks for your books using the eBosser. Hugs Pammejo
