Design Team: Sam Week 8 Cycle 8

Cutie Patootie

Happy Friday! We have another gorgeous project by Sam! See all the details to this embellished layout!

It’s Scrappin’ Friday again and I (Sam) have another simple layout to share with you.  I would love to show you how I use the die cut circles to showcase various papers in a layout.

The photo in the layout  has a few plates and bowls. I want to extend the circle elements from the photo to the layout. Thus I use My Favourite Things Dienamics – Circle Stax to cut out various sizes of circle from different papers. Since the photo is mainly brown and white, I could play with more color on the layout.

I popped some of the circles up with foam dots and decorated some with sequins and cabochon.

I love cutting up my papers with various shapes (circles / squares) and place them randomly on my layout. Using eBosser and dies are definitely one of the easier way when you want to play with shapes! Thanks for looking.

Supplies Used:
Papers – Elle’s Studio, American Crafts
Embellishments –Wood Veneer (Studio Calico),  Cabochon (Kaisercraft), Stickers (American Crafts), Thickers (American Crafts), Sequins
Dies – My Favourtie Things Die-namics
eBosser by Craftwell
Others – Gelatos
