Spring Flower Hair Clips
According to groundhogs, we only have a few more weeks of Winter! And that means Spring is around the corner, and so is project inspiration! Take Celeste's project today! See how you can create some Spring inspired accessories just in time for the new season!
Materials needed:
Pink and Purple felt
Embroidery floss
eBosser
Sizzix circle die and flower charm die
Hot Glue
I wanted to show you how easy it is to make these cute felt hair clips that you see everywhere these days.
First, I cut the felt to fit the circle and flower shape that I like (I cut mine two layers at a time and it cut like a charm).
One thing that I love about the eBosser that no other machine can do is put two side by side dies and run them through at the same time, so it really cuts the cutting time in half.
After running the eBosser I took some purple embroidery floss and stitched around the round circle, I think it makes it even cuter to look at.
On the 2 other flowers that don’t have a circle I cut a slit big enough to fit the clip and then I sandwiched them with the other layer of felt with the embroidered circle and glued them together so the clip ends up in between the two flowers. That is all you have to do! ENJOY!
