Team Craftwell

Spring Magnets

We have a small but sweet project for you today! Using our March Sponsor, Print On It: Bake & Shirk material, Jazmin Gibbons of Team Craftwell, was able to create some sweet Spring inspired magnets!

Here is her how-to:

Hi everyone! If you recognize my name is probably because you have seen my picture on our FB page from our CHA shows or spoken to me, over the phone from my customer support days! I'm excited to have the opportunity to show you how easy it is to create this quick project, that is seriously addicting! This Bake & Shrink material is amazing! and I have found myself cutting things out, just to see them shrink! lol! A-D-D-I-C-T-I-N-G!
So here is what I used:
Pink eCraft
Fundamentals 1 SD card, Jen Allyson's SD card
Bake & Shrink Material from Print On It! (cut material on a veggie mat with 1 &2 tabs and pressure of 6)
Printer and free down loadable gingham pattered found Jones Design Company.
Black ball point pen
Hot glue
Magnets (purchased at Hobby Lobby)

I printed the gingham pattern on my Bake & Shrink sheet, then I let dry for a few minutes. Next, I placed my Bake & Shrink sheet on a veggie mat for added stabilization, as the material is a little slick. Then I selected  to cut 3 images in 3 1/2 in. each.  Once cut, I followed the Bake & Shrink directions and baked my images!

Here they are after baking! They are tiny!

The eCraft images I choose had the drawing accents, and the eCraft pen works amazingly on this material!

I choose, the bunny from Fundemenatal's 1 SD card and the bird and butterfly from the "Cute Things" catergory, in the Jen Allyson's Design Card. I love how the little bunny's face is so clear! I just colored in the eyes before baking to accent them more! You can do this by simply coloring the eyes in with a black ball point pen.

I hot glued some magnets to the back, and voila! I was done!
And here they are on my little DIY magnet board, on my entry table! I love them!
I hope you liked this tutorial!
