Friday Film Time
Ok,
so it's hardly a film, unless you are holding coffee ;) either way,
it's Friday! and that means, it's video time! Every Friday, we will be
featuring a video from our design team or a video tutorial for all of our crafty followers. We are excited to have a place where things are organized for all
to see, and for those wanting to know more about the eCraft, we will
have many more goodies in store for you!
So, take a minute to watch below:
Pressure
settings. Just like the cheese to the macaroni, they go together with
the eCraft. If you are still confused about pressure settings, allow
us to explain: Because the eCraft is mat free, you can select how deep
your blade cuts. The pressure settings range from 1-8. 1 being the
lowest pressure and 8 being the highest pressure. For example, if you
want kiss-cut vinyl, you would use a low pressure of 1 or 2, but if you
wanted to cut through the backing of the vinyl, you would select the
blade to go deeper, to a 6 or 8. And while that sounds confusing,
as you can see, it is super easy to figure out! Craftwell has thought of
everything when designing this dream machine, from the blue indicator
light, to the blade cap cover everything works together to give you
amazing results! Now, I know what many of you may be thinking: "Do I need to do the pressure setting test every time I use my machine?!" and the answer is NO!
this is the best tutorial for a new user, or for someone who is trying
out a new material, but after a few tests, you will be able to figure
out the correct pressure setting for all your projects! Alright, and
while we are on the subject, did you know that if you remove your blade
cap cover, you can double the pressure of the blade?! So you kind of get
a 'chipboard' blade for free! Yes, you can cut thick materials such as
glitter chipboard, wood veneer and fabric by simply removing the gray
blade cover! Amazing huh?!
Now it's your turn! Tell us, did you find this tutorial helpful? Sound off in the comments!
And stay tuned for next week, when we will post some amazing projects by the lovely ladies of Craftwell's Design Team!
I have now figured out what to do. Thanks so much for the video. I love the blog and the free SVG's!! Thanks craftwell for being a friendly and service-minded company. You are the best.
