Halloween. We love this holiday! I mean, what's not to love?! You get to decorate your house in the funnest way, you get to dress up, and you get rewarded with candy?! L-O-V-E it!

Hello eCraft team! Here is my project for this week. I have made vinyl
spiders to decorate my home.
Here is a list of how I used the eCraft with this project:
1. My pressure setting was set at 1
2. My tab density was set at 0
3. My tab width was set at 0
4. Multi cut was set at 0
5. I did use an image stabilizer.
6. My blade cap was on
This was a very easy project.
This project was created in the following order...
*In your software program (whether that be eCraftshop pro, Make the
cut, or Sure cuts a lot3) place the desired SVG to be cut and size it
as desired. This little cutie pie spider can be found at
http://ecraftcentral.com/ if you do a search you can look for
"spider". I made a number of different sized spiders. The larger
spider was cut at 3' the smaller spiders were cut at 1'
*Check to make sure you have your tabs set at 0. You do not want tabs
when cutting vinyl because you will only be "kissing" the vinyl. You
do not want the eCraft to cut through the entire sheet, only the vinyl
on top.
*Place vinyl (purchased from Expressionsvinyl.com) on a cardstock stabilizer.
Optional: place painters tape on the four sides of your vinyl. Because
it is very thin I find that this works best to keep the vinyl in
place.
*Set your pressure setting (on the blade housing unit) to the lowest
possible setting; 1. You can always pause your cutting and increase
the pressure setting if need be.
*Load your paper from the front by feeding it into the machine using
the up arrow.
*In your software program (whether that be eCraftshop pro, Make the
cut, or Sure cuts a lot3) make sure you have selected load from front
of machine. In MTC there is an option for cutting mode this should say
FRONT.
*Select Start and your image will be cut into your vinyl.
*When your image(s) are finished cutting you will remove the entire
piece of vinyl.
*Subtract the negative vinyl from your sheet. This is the vinyl you
will not be using. Discard of reuse this vinyl in any form or fashion
you choose. For an added idea I used the negative to paint glow in the
dark spiders in my sons room with Glo Away found at most craft stores.
*Next you will take either transfer paper or in my case (remember I'm
frugal) I used contact paper that I had lying around the house. If you
go the second route and use contact paper be sure to get a bit of the
sticky off with either applying it to your arm or to your clothing so
that it looses a lot of its adhesive. Place the transfer paper over
your image and lift up in a 90 degree motion. Going slowly as to not
tear the vinyl.
*Your entire vinyl image should now be on your transfer paper
backwards. Next apply it to the area in which you would like it to be
and rub it down into the wall as best you can. I find this works
really well on non textured walls. However, I have textured walls and
it works just fine. :)
*Remove your transfer paper in a 90 degrees motion once again and
voila. Now you have personalized vinyl images on your wall.

When the season is over just lift them right off of the wall and
either discard them or place them onto transfer paper once again and
