Cut 'n' Boss Design Team: Tyra Babington Cycle 11
Today marks the end of our Die-Namite Dies Sponsorship, and we are sad! At least Tyra gave us more than one project to end the week!
See her cute projects below!
Hi It's Tyra back again to share what I created using the fab Cut 'n' Boss, Die-Namities Mop Flower Die , fun color, textured paper and even wood! Here's what I created:
To create this card, I started out with a piece of watercolor paper. I used Derwent Inktense pencils and a watercolor brush to randomly apply color. Once dry, I used an old small paint brush to apply white acrylic paint. Once the paint dried, I ran the watercolor paper + Die-Namities Mop Flower die through my Cut 'n' Boss, which did ALL of the work!

My cutting sandwich recipe was: A + B + A + Watercolor Paper + Die-Namities Die + D
You can find the tutorial over on Craftwell's You Tube Channel.
If you are using thicker watercolor or mixed media paper, add scrap paper to your sandwich to ensure a clean cut. This card has a beachy look -- what do you think?
Next, I used homemade paper to create a simple home decor piece:
Last, I had a single piece of wood "paper" I've been saving to use with Die-Namities dies because I knew I would get a clean cut. This is what I created:
I love the wood die cut against the metallic paper! This is going in my home office! Don't be afraid to experiment with different textures. In each of my projects shown above, the Cut 'n' Boss cut the thicker paper with ease. I hope I have inspired you today! Have a wonderful weekend!
