Watercolor Background using the eBrush

Ebrush Design Team: Lisa Somerville Week 11 Cycle 1

Hi and welcome to the Craftwell BlogLisa here today, sharing a card I created using the eBrush.

I love to use detail stamps, but don't always have a lot of time to do all the coloring, using the eBrush to create my watercolor background really saved a lot of time, and was quick and easy to do with minimal supplies.

This month, I created a video tutorial, instead of step by step directions.

Supplies:
eBrush with SP-01 Adapter Jr.
Staedtler Mars Graphic Watercolor Markers/Watercolor Pencils (optional)
Acrylic Panel
Non Stick Craft Mat
Glimmer Mist
Ink Blending Tool with Felt Applicator
Card Stock - Clay Coated, Black, Dusty Durango, Bahama Breeze
Stamps - Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink - Ranger Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, Ranger Black Archival
Heat Tool

For those who don't have time to watch the video, here is the background I created using the STAEDTLER Markers, eBrush and Glimmer Mist

Once dry, I added my stamped image

You can then use the stamped panel as desired.  I wanted to add additional colors for more detail, so I added color using the watercolor pencils.

Thanks for stopping by the Craftwell Blog, I hope you have found inspiration in my post!

  2. I stopped by the local store that carries a few arts and craft supplies, no watercolor paper so they are going to look into ordering some for me, if they don't get it I'll just stop at Jo Ann's in a couple of weeks when we go down to Bullhead City to do our shopping. I really want to try this technique.
There were 2 women working in the store, neither one had ever heard of the eBrush so I educated them.
