Cut 'n' Boss Design Team: Suzanna Lee Cycle 10
You asked for it, and Teresa Collins delivered! Your favorite Teresa Collins embossing folder designs in mini form! See how Suzanna Lee used the Twill Herringbone & Houndstooth mini folders to create two lovely cards!
I created two cards using two of the three embossing folders that I was sent.
Creating Cards with Embossed Layers
Hi there! Suzanna here today to share with you two cards that I created using two of the new A4 embossing folders released at winter CHA just recently; the Twill Herringbone and the Houndstooth.
Each card is created using a slightly different technique; one embosses directly on the card background itself while the other has an embossed layer that is adhered to the card background. Both, however, use the same sandwich.
Love cards always come in handy be it for your spouse, someone special, your children. I used the Twill Herringbone A4 embossing folder to create a tone on tone white layer for this card. I also used some other Craftwell/Teresa Collins dies for the additional elements. Simple but sweet.
And here is a close up;
St Paddy's day is around the corner and though we aren't Irish at all, it's still fun to celebrate! After all, everybody is Irish on St Patrick's Day, right?! For this card, I ran the whole card through the Cut'N Boss in an embossing folder then put my embellishment on top of that subtle texture!
And the close up;
These new A4 embossing folders are just perfect for those of you who are card makers and looking for some fun texture or dimension for your cards. I also think that they would be great for any pocket scrappers out there!
Thanks for stopping in today!
