Guest Designer: Pam MacKay
We have a gorgeous card by guest designer Pam MacKay! See how she created this gorgeous heart wreath card below!
Hello Pam MacKay here as a guest designer for Craftwell. I am really excited and honored to have been asked to share my card with you using my favorite embossing folded with small dots. I have been making cards and teaching card making for over 15 years. I am a stay at home crafter!! I am in my woman's cave for at least 2 to 3 hours a day and believe me I could be there all day but I do have to pay attention to the hubby and feed him on occasion!! Making cards is a wonderful creative outlet and I just love it!
1.
First you
start out with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 white card stock folded in half. Then you cut a piece of white card stock 5
1/4 x 4 1/8 and run it through your embossing machine using the dotted
embossing folder.
2. Then you cut or punch
out about 30 hearts of various shapes and sizes in red and 10 branches or
leaves in white.
3. Next cut out a 4 inch
ring in red.
4. Layer the hearts around
the ring (I added a little bend to the hearts with an embossing tool) then add
the branches or leaves. At the end ink a
few of the hearts with black ink and use pop dots to add to the wreath
5. Finally add Rhinestones
and a white raffia bow to complete you project.
Wow! This is beautiful, creative and acutely enjoy able! Thanks for sharing.
