Merry & Bright

Design Team: Suzanna Lee Cycle 10

The most wonderful time of the year is here! And what better way to remember it, than to record it! See today's gorgeous layout by Suzanna Lee below!

December?! December! That final month in the year! Suzanna here to share with you a great way to use of the Teresa Collins/Craftwell tag pocket dies to incorporate into your title of your layout.

The background of this layout is really easy to create using two pieces of paper from a 6x6 pad. To create the chevron effect I cut one of the sheets approximately 1/3 of the way across. I then used the larger piece to the left of the whole sheet and the smaller piece to the right of it, both of them "upside down", relative to the whole piece.

To create the title I ran the above sandwich through my Teresa Collins/Craftwell Cut N Boss and then layered the back of the tag with green cardstock. I cut "most" out with my Silhouette, stamped "the" and then used various letter stickers for the remainder. It was difficult to read "time" so I used a thin pen to outline the white letters.

The chevron embossed border creates a nice visual close to the main portion of my layout. To create this you will need Core'dinations Chalkboard cardstock, Teresa Collins/Craftwell Cut N Boss and the Teresa Collins/Craftwell Twill Herring Bone embossing folder. Run the following sandwich through;

Fussy cut a portion and sand to reveal the red core of the paper. Adhere and continue layering.

The rest of the layout is a cinch to put together with pocket scrapping sized pictures and journaling cards and borders from a 12x12 border sheet.
