Ebrush Design Team: Lisa Somerville Week 3 Cycle 1
I am in love! I wish I was on Lisa's List or at least at her party. These pieces are simply elegant and inviting! Thank you Lisa for sharing!
Hi, and welcome to the Craftwell Blog, Lisa here today, to share some Altered Christmas Gift Ideas with you using the eBrush.
To create the insersts for the coasters, I die cut the antler image from card stock, then using the eBrush, added color to the die cut pieces with Sharpie Gold and Copper Metallic Markers. Once the die cut pieces were dry, I adhered them to pattern paper, then inserted them into opening of the coasters.
To created the plate, I reversed the image, then die cut it from vinyl using my electronic cutter, and placed it on the backside of the plate as shown.
Using the eBrush and Sharpie Metallic Markers spray over the vinyl. Be sure to block off your previously sprayed area with painters tape and continue spraying until covered as desired.
Let dry, then remove vinyl.
Adhere vinyl cut out to glass as shown.
Using the eBrush and a Silver Metallic Sharpie, spray over vinyl cut out. Let dry, then remove vinyl.
If you happen to notice any overspray of markers on your glass pieces, you can remove the marker using a Q-tip and Gamsol.
As with all glass pieces, be sure to seal your projects, and hand wash.
Supplies:
Vinyl
Sharpie Markers - Silver, Gold, Copper
Miscellaneous Die Cuts, cut with electronic cutter, or use dies
