Woodgrain Picture Frame

Design Team: Jessica Kephart Week 14 Cycle 9

Summer is here and so are the summer projects! See what Jessica Kephart created for her home using Core'dinations Cardstock!

Good Morning everyone! Jessica here from Homespun Elegance again for another fabulous project with our July Featured Sponsor, CORE'dinations Color Core Cardstock!

Today I created an adorable frame for you!! I absolutely LOVE how this turned out! What do you think!?

First, run your CORE'dinations Cardstock through the eBosser using the Teresa Collins 8x10 Woodgrain Folder. Sand it down with the CORE'dinations Sanding block to expose the cores color. I absolutely LOVE CORE'dinations paper with ANYTHING embossed! It gives the project an amazing look with just a little sanding!

Using a tape adhesive  thoroughly cover your frame and the sides and the back of the paper. Place the Cardstock Embossed side down and center the frame and pressed it down. Using a scraper or your hands gently press to make sure there are no bubbles.

Using an exacto knife carefully cut a 45 degree angle from the corners of the frame in. Cut out leaving enough to pull into the opening, being careful not to leave too much or the glass and photo may not fit!

Turn it over and embellish to your hearts content! Here I used Lifestyle Craft dies for the sentiment, Unity Stamp Co Sentiment stamp, American Crafts Twine, Imagine Crafts ink, and Avery Elles dies.

Thank so much for dropping in today! It's always a pleasure to hear from you! If you want to know the products I used for todays project here they are!
