DIY Subway Art Ceramic Coasters

Design Team: Jessica Kephart Week 16 Cycle 9

This month flew on by with all the busy fun our design team has had with Core'dinations cardstock! See Jessica's subway Art coasters project below!

Good morning Crafters! Jessica here again from Homespun Elegance. Well, this is the Final Week working with our July Sponsor, Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock

My best friend just bought a new home and I wanted to make something for them, so I made these cute Subway Art Coasters with the Teresa Collins Craftwell Embossing Folder and CORE'dinations Vintage Color Core Cardstock.

These are quite simple to make and it's just a few steps!

Step 1: Purchase 4 4x4 Ceramic Tiles. Clean and dry them thoroughly.

Step 2: Create your Embossed Cardstock with the eBosser and Teresa Collins Subway Art embossing folder. Cut to size.

Step 3: Using Mod Podge, lay down a thick layer of adhesive with a paint brush and secure your pieces to the tile. Use another generous coat of Mod Podge on the top of the cardstock.

Let them dry overnight and place felt pads for furniture on the bottom side to prevent scratching on your furniture!

Tie them off with a sweet ribbon and they are ready to be given as a gift and better yet!? I made this for under 2.00!!

So what do you think? Will you be trying these?

Supplies Used:
