This month our fabulous sponsor Avery Elle has challenged us to create a LO based on one of the projects designed by their DT. This is my inspiration, a card from JJ Bolton.
And this is my take:

Creative Process:
I used JJ's little "sail boat in a bottle" idea as my start point, but since I don't have the super cute boat she used, I created mine using the bottoms of extra bottles cut at different angles.
First, I spritz the color shine on my background piece, let it dry. In the mean time I placed my metal die cuts on the magnetic shim and run them almost all at once, the waves required a little more of work since the die I used is not as long as my paper, but other than that everything else went in at the same time - this is why I love the eBosser, it saves you time due to its platform size-.
For the hull, I first embossed a piece of card stock an then cut it, it losses some of its embossed detail but you can still see it. Maybe you want to cut and then emboss. Now for the bottle, I did the opposite, I first cut and then embossed the clouds, colored the sky and ocean and added the " cork". Finally, I stamped the contours.
All that was left was to add the rest of the elements and presto! Pretty simple uh? :)
