Design Team: Celeste Collette Week 6 Term 5

Lovely Fortune

Valentine's Day challenge week continues! And sometimes, less is more! See this simple tutorial, with a sweet message!

Materials needed:

Red felt
Sizzix Circles dies
eBosser (Platform A and C)
bendable wire
hot glue
This project is simple and quick to make, all you need is a few minutes from start to finish. You first put your red felt on to the Circle die, I did two layers of felt at a time and it worked just great! Then you lay your die on Platform C and put Platform A on top of the die and have it go through the eBosser and Ta-Da you have perfect circles!
Take your bendable wire (I found mine for a dollar at Wal-Mart in the craft section) and cut it into small pieces.

After you cute your wire pieces cut a long piece of felt long/wide enough to cover your wire, then take your hot glue gun and glue the wire to the middle of the circle (like shown in picture) then you take the long piece of felt and glue it to cover the wire.

The wire makes it really easy for the felt to fold and bed, you can then bend it to whatever shape you want your fortune cookie. I then quickly printed a few “love” fortunes and cut them into longer strips of paper and put them inside the cookie…. And that is it! See how simple this was!

Thank you Celeste!

Woudn't these make cute Valentine's Day gifts, instead of cards? What do you think?
