Lyssa's Sweet Owl Mother's Day Project
Crafting is fun, and we believe that it should start as soon as possible! See what Lyssa and her young daughters created, to celebrate her teacher! And with Mother's Day around the corner, we believe this to be the perfect mother and toddler project!
This idea was originally found
on a friend's blog for Teacher Appreciation Week. I loved the idea. I actually am doing it for Emma's Kinder class.
But why not do it for Mother's day?
Things you will need:
Cardstock
Pencil
Scissors
Xyron Glue Runner
Fundamentals SD card
Jen Allyson SD card
Black Marker
Here's the final product followed by the cute phrase to stick with your owls:
How adorable is this?
Here is how to do it:
You start out with tracing the hands of your kids and then cut them out.
Cut out a shadow image of an owl found on Jen Allyson Design SD card
Then cut out 2 circles from the Fundamentals SD card, assemble them then write their names...And you are done! How cute would this be with all the owls all over the wall or door with that cute phrase?
I would love that as a mom!!
lol I even did all by myself!
-Lyssa
Thank you Lyssa! How sweet is this project?! We love that young kids could do this, and would be a perfect afternoon craft that you and your litte ones can remember forever!
