Designer Spotlight!

Getting To Know: Lois Hale

When we first saw Lois turn an old frame into a pretty, sunny Spring frame we just knew we had to invite her to our blog! If she seems familiar to you, it's not only because she has a big following over at her personal blog {Auntie Lolo's Crafts}, but she also participated in our CHA blog hop!

See Lois' amazing transformation:

 Turned an old frame...

Into this!

Isn't this beautiful?!  And now for the fun part, we asked Lois to share some crafting secrets with all of our amazing eCrafters, and she agreed! If she only knew...JK!

Craftwell: When did you begin crafting?
Pretty much when I was born! I grew up in a super crafty family. My mom is the most creative person I know.  She is a master seamstress and when I was little she used to always buy me little craft kits to do or encourage me to make craft projects. The first time I made something that I could frame and be proud of was a cross stitch when I was in my teens. I started scrapbooking soon after that.

Craftwell: When is your favorite time to craft?
I like to craft at night or in the afternoon. Always with my laptop there watching a show or movie.

Craftwell: How do you get inspired?
When I put up my decorations for a season and I sit and look at them and think, "What could I add that would make these better?" Or when I'm making a card for a birthday I sit and think about the person's personality and come up with a card that way.

Craftwell: Everyone loves shopping! What are some of your favorite places to shop for craft supplies?
Hobby Lobby, no question there.

Craftwell: Stamps or fabric?
Stamps.

Craftwell: What crafting tool can you NOT live without?
Paper Cutter. I cannot cut a straight line to save my life.  :)
