Design Team: Lyssa Zimmerman, Week 2 Term 2

Lyssa Zimmerman: Puppy "Obsessed"

'She's bringing scrapbook pages back'. 'YEAH!' If you read that, while thinking of Justin Timberlake's song (Sexy Back) then you are on our wavelength! And Lyssa Zimmerman is doing just that! She's bringing scrapbook pages to us, and we are loving it! Using the eCraft, and our January sponsors: DCWV and Mr. Cricut Crazy stamps, she managed to create another amazing scrapbook layout for all pooch loving people out there!

Here is her tutorial:

Hi Everyone!!!

This week, I just had to do another double LO because these pictures just had to be scrap-booked!
Patterned Paper was DCWV & cardstock was from Crafts Etc.Cute little dog stamp was from
My daughter's favorite thing in the world are her doggies.

Her Grandma Z. gave her the first one when she was 9 months old. It was an Easter dog from Walmart. And for some reason, it stuck.

Almost 6 years later, it's still the one. But now there are 2 more!! The second green dog, miraculously was found at a local garage sale for .25 cents!! What are the odds?!!?

Implementing my sewing machine in these LOs, as you can see in these close-ups. I sewed down the hearts to add texture and dimension :)

Here's page #2! I love that banner, what about you?!

I also used the sewing machine to add the journaling lines.

Here's the cute dog I was telling you about :)

So has anyone else tried sewing on your scrapbook pages or your cards? If not, let me show you how easy it is to do! Don't be intimidated!!

It's so fun to do it now! You probably will see it again on my creations :)

Thank you Lyssa, for those adorable layouts and video! Why is it that using a sewing machine intimidates people? Do you like sewing your projects, or is it too scary to think about? Sound off in the comments!
