Raven Baca's Happy Fall
It's Fall, and with the season changing, so should your home decor! Raven Baca is going to show us how to welcome Fall the right way!
Hey eCrafters! Today I'm sharing another home decor project using the
amazing Square1 adhesive fabric. I LOVE this stuff. And because I have
been playing around with it and different mediums I thought... lets
get some paint on here. And that's exactly what I did!!! ;)
Here is a list of how I used the eCraft with this project:
1. My pressure setting was set at 4
2. My tab density was set at 0. Although I did try to cut the Square1
Material with tabs at 2 and width at 3 and I really didn't like the
way they came out.
3. My tab width was set at 0
4. Multi cut was set at 0
5. I did not use an image stabilizer.
6. My blade cap was on.
What you will need for this project:
Square1 adhesive fabric
Chipboard letters (Michael's)
Apple Barrel paint in Kelly green, pumpkin, and golden brown
JoAnn Craft Essentials paint in metallic bronze
Brayer
Craft mat
Tombow liquid adhesive
eCraft
Homemade glimmer mist
Place your Square1 paper fabric side down into the front of your
eCraft. Using a frame SVG cut out at 8" approximately. Using Make the
Cut place your SVG where you would like your image to cut. If it is
something other than a frame you are going to want to flip your image
so that it cuts right side up. Next using Fundamentals 1 SD card cut
out two leaves at 2" each.
Leaving the backing on your cut out frame place it fabric side up on a
craft mat. Using your desired colors and the brayer spread paint on
the entire frame. Since you are using acrylic paint it will dry very
quickly so you can wait in between colors so that they don't blend
together.
Repeat the same process with the leaves.
Once all of the paint is dry spritz with homemade glimmer mist.
Next using Tombow liquid adhesive adhere the chipboard pieces onto
your project. Next adhere the leaves.
Remove the adhesive backing from its base sheet and adhere to any
surface. Voila art for your walls or front door that is removable and
fun!!!
I hope you all enjoy this project and that you are having a wonderful
fall!!! I know some of you just jumped right into winter so maybe you
could put some snowflakes on your wall hanging instead of leaves. ;)
Big hugs,
Raven
