Raven Baca's 'Little Witch'
We are loving this week! Halloween and Square 1 has really inspired our design team, and us! Today we have a little home accent by our Design Star Raven Baca. Here is the easy how-to:
Hi eCrafters!
Raven here from Love4stamps with another home decor project for you today!
This was a very simple project to make as I didn't use the print and
cut method. Although if the print and cut is something you would like
to do my friend Denise over at Purplepaperparadise.blogspot. com has a
fabulous video on how to do so here
http://purplepaperparadise. blogspot.com/2011/05/print- cut-with-ecraft-hinge-method. html
With this project I decided to cut and not print. What I did was
placed a sheet of Square1's printable, re-positionable, removable
adhesive fabric into the left corner of the eCraft and put my pressure
setting on 6. My tabs were set at 0 and my blade cap was on. I did use
an image stabilizer for this project as well.
This is a great product which allows you to use the same image or cut
over and over again. So....I cut this free svg that I found online
using Make the Cut software. I did not print on the paper (fabric)
prior to cutting it. Once I was done cutting it all out I took a black
copic marker (100) and I colored the image in. Because this is a
printable fabric type of material it absorbed the copics wonderfully.
Then I took off the backing sheet and adhered it to the wall. I am a
tad fickle when it comes to home decor so this little gem has been
moved around 5 times and the stick is still stronger than ever. I
definitely prefer this to vinyl anyday!!!!
Thanks everyone for stoppin' by. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!
