To share a ”Creepy Cute”, keepsake box.
That I altered, I began with a heart shaped balsa wood box from my stash.
I covered it with a layer of white gesso.
Next I traced around the bottom of my box, and around the lid,
then I cut it out of my patterned paper.
Since I wanted to be able to remove the lid easily I did not want to
add anything extra under the lid! So I put the lid on the box and measured
the space from where the lid ended to the bottoms of the box.
I cut 2 paper strips out of my 12x12 paper.
Cutting the down to fit on 1/2 of the box.
I painted the lid, and some embellishments, at this point I decoupaged my paper on too!
Next, I knew I wanted to use my eBrush for some shading.
And so I did. Love my eBrush! I decided to use a deeper color to shade with and I loved it.
Next I added the embellishments I altered! And was done!
I hope you will understand I just HAD too! LOL
