Design Team: Raven Baca Week 1

 Design Star: Raven Baca

The week keeps going with amazing projects! Today, Raven rose up to the use of Fundementals 1 SD card challenge and gave us a cute framed project! Here is her how-to:

Hi beautiful eCrafters. I'm so excited for my first design team post
as a humble eCraft designer. I am learning new things about this
beautiful machine daily and I cant wait to share my experiences with
you all. I'm so honored to be here!

The project I choose to make today is a home decor item. I love

decorating my house these days. This picture frame was purchased at
the dollar store for...$1.00. I just love being frugal ;) I then found
some paper to match my front living room and went to work. All of the
paper used on this project is from Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip and
Cherry Cobbler. I would qualify this project as a beginner project.

Here is a list of how I used the eCraft with this project:

1. My pressure setting was set at 4 and a half. So in between the 4 and the 5.

2. My tab density was set at 0.

4. Multi cut was set at 0

5. I did not use an image stabilizer. I loaded the paper through the

front loading tray.

6. My blade cap was on.

I cut out the hearts using the Fundamentals 1 SD card at 1". I LOVE

these SD cards. Then I cut a piece of chocolate chip cardstock at 6x8.
The picture frame has a 5x7 frame so this worked perfectly. I then
adhered the chocolate chip cardstock to the frame of the image (the
off-white edge). I took dimensionals and placed those around the
outside of the frame to give the picture a lift. It is actually 3-d
even though you cant see it too well in the pics. Then using a
quilters ruler I aligned all of the hearts and adhered them with
liquid adhesive. Next I used Make The Cut to cut out the letter U and
a shadow of the letter U. I placed dimensionals on the U and then
adhered it to the middle of the frame. Then I put the backing back on
the frame and put it up in the front living room. I'm loving it I hope
you all do to. If you are inspired to make one please let me know I'd
love to go over and take a look at it.

Big hugs,

Raven

We are loving this frugal project, and the frame for a dollar is icing on the cake! Thank you, Raven, for this lovely gem!
